New for 2006 are our Murder Mystery evenings. The games are individually tailored to your requirements for between 6-20 players. Each evening involves the characters in a Cludo style event that includes a bespoke menu and costumes (that you provide!). Just let us know the style and the number of people and we do the rest. Alternatively, if you want to meet new people, call so that we can arrange a mixed party.
Each of your dinner guests has a part to
play and they're required to act out that part based on the information given
to them. We have over 60 characters, each with their own unique
characteristics so each game should be different!!!
There are 15 themes, but the
settings, the murder weapon, and the identity of the murdered person change
each time you play the game. You can even modify each character to suit your
style of party... The Murder Mystery Game takes a theme, weapon, victim, and players. We randomly choose a murderer, randomly add in some red-herrings, smokescreens and obfuscation and we then provide booklets for each player, which give them some information, some instructions and suggestions for each of the 9 rounds. The game itself is designed to last a few hours – (over a meal), at the end everyone guesses who the murderer is and the reveal is opened. You can choose the time period and the style so for example you could have a 1920's Carve-up at the Cottage! Costs are: £20 per person with an minimum booking of 2 people, for the evening event, or £90 per couple which includes overnight accommodation. The styles available are:
